Can You Trade Commodities and Futures on Fidelity?

Some Fidelity customers wonder why certain instruments like the S&P 500 E-Mini futures contract (ESH22) are not available.

When you enter a specific futures instrument into the Fidelity platform, it will return “Symbol Not Found.”

That is because, currently, Fidelity does not offer trading for commodities and futures contracts.

Cryptocurrency used to be on that list. However, with the release of Fidelity Crypto, users are now able to buy & sell Bitcoin and Ethereum with Fidelity.
