[Fixed] ✅ Fidelity Error 000960: “You must sell a minimum of one share”

I was using the new trade ticket interface and ran into this error when placing an order.

Error: (000960) You must sell a minimum of 1 share. Please review your order or call a Fidelity representative at 1-800-544-6666.

Answer

As you are well aware, the new trade ticket interface is a work in progress. Errors are to be expected.

Here is a temporary solution to this problem.

1. Login to your Fidelity account.
2. Click on Trade.
3. Verify that New Trade Experience is set to Off.
4. Place your order.
